We also seek to help those socially and economically deprived BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) individuals through providing opportunities to learn, to perceive, and to achieve. 10-WEEK CAREER DEVELOPMENT MENTORING SCHEME
Collaborating with Hongkongers in Britain, Glasgow Chinese Grace Church
This scheme aims to provide emotional support and information about personal development for BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) young people. Classes will be available in groups.

Guaranteed Excellence
This programme is designed for BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) students with a desire to develop emotional control skills and further career development. The curriculum of the scheme will be tailored according to individual needs and the tutor's observation. Note that this scheme shares limited slots and will be prioritised for the BME community with special needs.

MENTORS WANTED!
We are now looking for Volunteer Mentor!
Any person from any community who has the knowledge and skills to help someone in the fields of employment and education can be a mentor. A mentor’s commitment is to agree to one day's mentor training and to support their assigned mentee for 2 to 3 hours per week not exceeding 6 months. The required support and supervision are provided to mentors by New Creation staff.
ENGLISH SCHOOL
We’re thrilling to launch new service that teaches courses across all levels. The English School includes English course for beginners, English course for intermediate to advanced learners, Life in the UK course, and Scottish dialects course. Align with our mission, we're eager to help people of all ages from BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) group boost their confidence in practising their English skills and help them to settle in the UK. BASIC ENGLISH
A basic English course is ideal for anyone who wants to improve their English communication skills (i.e Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking). Our course is FREE of charge and focus on the practical needs of students with BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) background and can be studied on a full-time or part-time basis. Courses range from a minimum of one week to one year or more, giving you choice and flexibility. The registration form is just one click away below.
INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED ENGLISH
This course offers you various levels of English skills from intermediate-level to advanced-level. A placement test will be required before you start to determine which level you will be placed in. You will study a balanced mix of skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and systems (grammar, vocabulary, functions, pronunciation), with an emphasis on practical, everyday communication. Additionally, you will learn idiomatic phrases that will help you to know English like a native speaker. For further information on idiomatic English please press here. LIFE IN THE UK
As a part of promoting people to settle in the United Kingdom permanently, the British government conducted a Life in The UK test that aligns with immigration rules regarding the “Knowledge of Language and Life in The United Kingdom” requirement. On top of that, the applicants must have an English speaking and listening qualification at Level B1 (English for Speakers of Other Language/ESOL Entry 3). Therefore, New Creation is present to help people from refugee, asylum, migrant worker, and BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) groups to pass the Life in the UK Test as well as the B1 test by providing the FREE courses. The courses contain one-to-one practice, materials and consultation that would boost your confidence to take the official test. SCOTTISH DIALECTS
Standard English is an official language in Scotland. However, major areas in Scotland have their own distinct accents and dialect words. The Scottish words mostly being known to English speakers but sometimes the spelling of the words is not completely finished to be spoken. Those whose English is their second language might find it challenging to catch and understand the meaning. Thus, New Creation sees it as important to learn Scottish dialects especially in the daily conversation for those who just arrived in Scotland. SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
As the restrictions are now easing, New Creation opens a skill development centre for those who are from BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) group with Covid-19 guidelines applied. We have four computers available for learning and improving IT skills. Located in the heart of Glasgow makes the skills development centre is reachable by public transports. COUNSELLING SERVICE
We believe mental health and mental well-being play a pivotal role in human beings to be able to undertake their functions effectively in society and as an individual.
We are present to maintain mental well-being of people within minority communities to help them recognise, embrace, and overcome difficulties during this predicament. This service is under confidential settings with individuals who are experiencing personal difficulties, to help them overcome their emotional problems and to make appropriate changes to their lives through active listening and advance empathy.
Counselling Service including: Emotional Control Problems, Anger Management, Life Coaching, Addictions/Habits Control, Spiritual Support.
We welcome the BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) community to harness these programmes both face to face or online counselling by appointment. Available languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese.
